Hiking to Baklidammen

Autumn is the time for beautiful fungus in Trondheim

Friday = no work = hiking with my husband = shinrin yoku

Entwined

Can you see that delightful beaver swimming away from me?

Trondheim is the perfect little city for hiking. Just 6 km from our home are these beautiful lakes and forests. Lucky us! And we finally got to see our first beaver!

I couldn’t see any fairies but they can’t be far away

Isn’t that relaxing?

Can you feel the pull of that seat, like a magnetic attraction?

Follow me

The wild rose bushes of Trondheim delight me with their fragrant blooms that lasted all summer and now their beautiful hips to delight us all autumn

As we walked back down from Iladalen we took a different route to usual and I enjoyed admiring this handsome building

Autumn is here. The light is beautiful. The days are shortening. The animals are busily preparing for the darkness, cold and ice to come. It’s been wonderful to observe an entire annual cycle in Trondheim. Have you been to Trondheim? Can you recommend any hikes or hidden delights to me?
